Be You. HAHA. I know, it's corny. But that's what they want from your essays. Just tell it like it is, no matter how weird, cynical, or out right insulting it may be. Individuality is key at this university and they like people who know themselves.

if ur grades, sat's, and extracurriculars are pretty good, you'll prob get in.

I don't think it's that hard to get in,Sep 21 2003Chemistry
I don't think it's that hard to get in, my essay was about my academic faults, in particular my efforts to get into a good university.

BU was actually the last college I added toSep 19 2003Archaeology
BU was actually the last college I added to my list, but since the deadline was later than most and the application was easy to access online, I applied at the last minute.
Anyway, I guess it's the same as in any other college - transcript is definitely the most important thing, but the school looks at standardized test scores and extracurriculars/work as well.
SAT: 1350 Female
If you want to go to BU and don'tJul 16 2003PreMed and Medical
If you want to go to BU and don't have good grades or SAT scores, you can probably get into the College of General Studies, but to warn, there is a bit of a rift between GGS kids and the rest of the university: the kids in CGS feel they are being judged and the people in the other schools felt like they are constantly having to hold their tongue around them. CGS is also considered by some the 13th and 14th grades and is maliciously named Crayon Glue and Scissors. Not having been in CGS, I would assume they have just as much work as anyone else. As far as the rest of the school all you need is decent SAT scores and good grades.
SAT: 1270 Female
